AMST is located in Planet Health Club ,Childers Road, Limerick,V94A4XV . All of our courses take place on-site in the classroom, however we do have an most of theory Around 10 Zoom classes (recordings available for students to access extra material and catch up on anything they may have missed out on in class)

In most cases, no prior experience or certifications are necessary to enroll in our workshops and courses. However, some advanced or follow-on courses do require a relevant qualification before proceeding. Any such prerequisites are clearly outlined in the descriptions of each course and workshop.

Yes, complying with ITEC/VTCT Skills, we are an accredited academy. Our academy is supervised by a licensed ITEC examiner, who also assesses our students in the appropriate courses.

Absolutely! Unless otherwise specified, most of our basic courses and workshops require no prior experience. All essential skills and knowledge are provided throughout the course or workshop. Many of our graduates—most of whom began with no therapeutic background—have gone on to successfully run their own clinics or collaborate with established practices after their time at AMST.

Yes, all of our courses and workshops include a practical component. At AMST, we believe that developing your skills through hands-on practice in a classroom setting, under the supervision of your tutor, is the most effective way to learn. This approach fosters continuous improvement and provides meaningful feedback.

Yes. For our longer courses, you will complete the in-house and ITEC end-of-year exams, and certification will be awarded after your results are reviewed. For workshops, based on specific requirements, you may take a short test and receive your certification either at the end of the workshop or by mail within one week.

You can join IMTA for massage and explore other associations for potential insurance discounts. We also have reliable insurance brokers available and can provide contact details to cover multiple disciplines on your policy.

The cost of workshops and courses varies. There are two ways to pay for our lengthy courses on the website: 1. Full payment 2. Payment Plan Payment options include full payment or a payment plan. Contact us if you have difficulties with your payment plan for assistance. Full payment for workshops is required by the start date, while lengthy courses must be paid in full by the end of the school year to avoid delays in results. For details, email info@amst.ie.

Absolutely! Our part-time classes are designed to fit around your full-time commitments. You can plan your studies to match your schedule by asking for a full academic timetable. If you ever need to miss a class, our online learning resources are available to help you keep up.

Prospective students must have adequate spoken and written English skills for class participation and coursework completion.
